Franciscan Health Carmel has extended its nationally recognized health care services with the opening of the new Carmel Hospital. The hospital is centrally located on the west side of Meridian Street between 116th Street and West Carmel Drive, with entrance off Illinois Street. With multiple services available, patients have the convenience of easy access and quality care close to home and the support of highly trained physicians and staff. Services include imaging, including MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound, bone density and diagnostic radiography; inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures; oncology/infusion; cardiac testing; joint replacement consultation and pre- and post-operative visits; physical therapy; laboratory; and pharmacy. Physician specialties include oncology and hematology, proctology, general surgery, breast surgery, joint replacement and colorectal. The Carmel hospital joins a family of medical experts already serving central Indiana patients in Indianapolis, Mooresville and Plainfield, dedicated to improving the health of people in the communities we serve.
